The people who gave us Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit are blessing us with another Claymation movie: Early Man! The trailer throws us back to childhood, very much like the previous films birthed from Aardman Animations we grew up loving and tiring out, and yet they still hold up in our adulthood; the animation is clever, nostalgic, and it flourishes with comedic subtext.
Early Man is set in prehistoric times and follows Dug, a caveman, and his sidekick Hognob as they travel to unknown lands to defeat the enemy Lord Nooth from Bronze Age City whom is trying to take over and flush out the cavemen.
Amidst the pool of constant desolate and dramatic films premiering these days, it’s refreshing and still cool to have fun films like these still hitting the theaters. Check out the poster and the official trailer and let us know what you think!
