The scariest kind of horror films — not thrillers, because those are a different genre completely — are the paranoiac ones, the ones that make you question everything and they leave you thinking about them days later because our teeny little brains cannot fathom why that horror film rocked our world so much.
Psychological horrors are the greatest of horrors.
Charismata will be like that because we get a sense that the story — and reality — isn’t entirely what it seems. And, it involves cultish elements, which as everyone knows, is classically frightening.
Detective Rebecca Faraway played by Sarah Beck Mather is assigned to investigate brutal murders allegedly caused by a cult, but she soon realizes that more than her life is at stake — her sanity is at risk as well.
Get excited because there will be plenty of gore and well-scripted confusion for all of us in this film.
