Sadly Dave left our network, but Carlos Mencia is a fresh new face we’re going to take to new heights. It’s awesome. We here tell that Mexican people are coming to America in droves so we’re just going to take black jokes from that old show and make them about Mexicans. Also we hate subtlety in humor so we’re done with that.”

Okay I’ve had enough of my parody. I imagine I reacted the same way my grandparents did when they watched “Mayberry RFD” for the first time. Did that cover enough demographics? Whether or not you liked “Mind of Mencia” or not, Carlos’ backlash mainly started when he got lazy and was caught stealing jokes. Just like these:

Obviously, that’s a parody people. But when people are siding with king douche Joe Rogan over you, the career is about to take a nose dive.
I’ll give him some due. He seems very passionate about his so called art. His “Comedy Central Presents:” back in the day shows that. I actually liked the first episode of “Mind of Mencia” if only because Peter Boyle came in and took over the show.
It was a really one note show. Any value it had up top went away when you realized his depth in material stopped pretty short. The fact that I watched the show still surprises me because he took the time slot “Stella” was in so his show can go burn.
Mencia is a pariah. He doesn’t even get that commercial money that hack comic of the last decade Larry the Cable guy gets. He also didn’t bounce back like other supposed jokes thief Dane Cook because that was horse crap anyway. Carlos has more money than he deserves so who cares what I say huh?
