And there are still fun pics that I didn't get to post.
Dave Chapelle is a funny man. This is not new information. So of course when he gets a sketch show, it is hilarious. “Chappelle’s Show” (aptly named) weaved its way into the public’s lexicon and remains influential in comedy and Comedy Central’s programming. That’s right “Key and Peele”, “Mind of Mencia” and whatever Nick Kroll’s show is, you suck and should just knock it off. Dave wins.
One of my favorite parts of the show was the 5 minute break at the end so I could go get snacks. Oh wait? They had music? Well I’m not a hip-hop guy. I’ve hated Kanye West long before everyone else. He was on this show like 50 times. John Mayer was funny in a sketch once but the end was still bad.
I like this show because it got me through summer school when I was 15. God I’m old. It was an urban part of the city and it came in handy. Reviewing a sketch show isn’t fun because there isn’t much plot so I’ll end it super short here. Look at the pics and laugh and read my stuff next week when I get back in the saddle for real.
