It’s a special triple feature this week, as I made my way to Adventureland Day Camp in Bensalem for Awesome Fest. This was an all-night horror movie marathon taking place on Friday the 13th. Six films were shown, three classics and three new hits. Those three being covered on the show today. They include “The Battery”, “Jug Face” & “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane”. I also discuss The Awesome Fest and all of the festivities and meetups centered around it.
I returned to the Dungeon of Horrors when I arrived home to endure one of the most painful inductions yet, “Rent-A-Kid”. It stars Leslie Nielsen as a psychotic man who rents out orphans to terrible people for a few days. You know, so they can see if they’re ready to be parents yet. Who cares about the children’s feelings? Surely not the producers of this dreck!
I also go over recent viewings, including the three classic films playing at Awesome Fest, “Friday the 13th”, “The Burning” & “Sleepaway Camp”, as well as “Life 2.0”, “Snow in Tha Bluff”, “The World’s End” & “Don Jon”.
