In the long and storied history of the F.A.N. forum there have been threads that have taken a life of their own just because of how strange, outlandish and hilarious they are. Among them is the Oh God…its ON… thread started by insiderdave on February 20, 2010.
It all started way back in 1997 when Joel Schumaker directed the horrible movie Batman and Robin.
The use of horrible puns among other things makes it unbearable to watch in one sitting in my opinion on DVD. I would know, I’ve tried doing this a few times, perhaps because I’m a glutton for punishment.
Anyways, fast forward to on February 20, 2010, the night when said bad movie was on television. That evening many members of the F.A.N. forum watched it together after insiderdave made a thread announcing that it was on the air. Those who participated in the thread, including myself, made several sarcastic comments on it. That, combined with it being on television, meaning that commercial breaks would ease the pain, made it bearable it watch despite the fact they extended the length of the film.
