In the long and storied history of the F.A.N. forum there have been threads that have taken a life of their own just because of how strange, outlandish and hilarious they are. Among them is the LAMINATOR! Thread started by claw on September 29, 2008.
In order for this thread to make any sense one must first know what a lamination is. Dictionary.com defines lamination as four different things, but for our purposes we will be using “to cover or overlay with lamina.” Lamina is a thin plate, scale, or layer which covers something. Therefore it can be reasoned that a laminator is a machine which covers things in thin layers. The picture below is that of a laminator.
The thread consists of various things and people that have been laminated as well as people putting over just how useful a laminator is. Out of the people and items that are laminated the two which are my favorites are seen below. The picture below is that Motor City Machine Guns.
The drawing below is that of a creature named Tragdor the Laminator, which was itself laminated.
