Previously on justifying evil it was rationalized as to why Christian was in the right when he hit Randy Orton in the head with the World Heavyweight Championship. This week will be pick up that that left off, with Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long repeatedly screwing Christan out of the World Heavyweight Championship.
Last year at Capital Punishment when Randy Orton fought Christian with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, Christian was he was pinned his foot was under the rope.
While the referee did not notice this, surely one would think that Teddy Long would’ve granted Christian an automatic rematch with Orton because it would only be fair. To strengthen his case for a title bout the following day on Monday Night Raw Christian pinned the World Heavyweight Champion in an elimination tag team match.
At this point considering what Teddy Long had already done to him it should be to the surprise of no one that the Smackdown General Manager put Christian in yet another unfair match to gain a championship match he had to defeat Kane. Just like at Capital Punishment the referee appointed to the match screwed up costing Christian the match. Furthermore, Teddy Long admitted the ref screwed up and set up a rematch between the two men. In that match Mark Henry interfered costing Christian the match.
Once again, Teddy Long screws over Christian by saying he’ll get a title match if Mark Henry and Christian can defeat Randy Orton and Kane. As a team Christian and Mark Henry were victorious in that match, however Teddy Long proved that he was not a man of his word as he awarded the title shot to the World’s Strongest Man. But that was not only the most revealing thing about Teddy Long that evening, he admitted that he was screwing over Christian.
What was most telling was that Teddy Long has a personal vendetta against the Canadian making him wrestle a match against Sheamus while he was injured on November 13 of last year having been attacked by The Big Show before the contest. As a result of the assault he received from The Big Show and the match with Sheamus, Christian suffered a high ankle sprain and a broken neck.
Christian has been out of action even since.
In light of how unfair Christian has been treated by Teddy Long it is no wonder he turned his back on the Smackdown General Manager who refuses to give him a fair one more title opportunity that he should have been given many months ago. If there is any justice for Teddy Long it will be that Mr. Excitement will replace the current power hungry Smackdown General Manager who has clearly abused his authority.
