After missing a week, which seemed to disappear into obliviocry (TM-Shane Douglas). I’m also back home, right in, here Cape Breton (thumbs up). There’s some new guy. Chris Russo (SWERVE) and Byron Saxton. He’s talking about last week’s fatal fourway. Hey, maybe there wasn’t one on.
FCW Tag Team Championship
CJ Parker & Donny Marlow vs Brad Maddox & Briley Pierce
Man, top challengers wrestling for the titles. They haven’t won a match together, like, ever. But, the tag titles are on the line. Briley wants in at the start. Briley with a nice armdrag on Parker. Parker gets his own on Pierce but Parker comes back with another armdrag into an armbar. Lots of armdrags from Babyface Ziggler. Maddox tags in, seems surprised that Pierce is doing so well right now. Headbutts to Maddox and Parker makes the tag to Donny Marlow. Marlow slams Parker on Maddox. Quick tag back in. Poetry in motion type move by the champs. Another quick tag to Marlow. Apparently last week they beat Corey Graves and Colin Cassidy, so maybe a show did take place last week. Quick tags in the challengers corner and Maddox tries a chinlock but Marlow rolls out into a hammerlock. Marlow tries a leapfrog but Maddox drives his head into the groin. Maddox starts going to work. Briley hesitant to tag in. Briley starting to jump down on the groin himself. Another tag in, great tag team strategy by the Maddox/Pierce connection. Pierce gets back in and goes back to work on the leg. Marlow kicks Pierce away, and he tags back in Maddox. Maddox gets pushed off, and CJ Parker comes in. You can hear the crowd going nuts, as if Rob Conway walked into the arena. Parker gets a 1 count on Pierce. Double knees in the corner. Whips Pierce into the rope but Maddox grabs him and Parker misses a dropkick. Backdrop suplex reversal and Parker goes to attack Maddox. Parker goes for an O’Connor roll on Pierce, but Pierce reverses, and gets a three count!
Winners and NEW FCW Tag Team Champions, Brad Maddox and Briley Pierce.
The crowd can’t believe it. Brad Maddox can’t believe it. He starts hugging Briley and is so excited.
Calvin Raines vs Kevin Hackman
Calvin got rid of those ridiculous cornrolls. Hackman lets out his silent rage at the entrance way. A lock up that lasts like, 10 seconds. Raines goes for a headlock but is thrown off. Hackman with a big body slam and an elbow that gets a 2 count. Raines follows up with a neckbreaker. Raines throws him in the corner and starts hammering away in the corner. Raines keeps on the offense. Goes for an O’Connor roll but Hackman grabs the rope. It’s futile as Raines hits a back shoulder block. Raines gets two 2 counts and says, you’ve got to be kidding me. Raines then starts creaming Hackman. Half nelson by Raines. Hackman fights up to his feet. Raines got for a suplex but it’s blocked and Hackman hits a suplex. Big chop and a clothesline, kinda weak looking. Big sidewalk slam by Hackman, and that gets a two count. Some Kevin Nash style back elbows by Hackman. Hackman throws down the referee when the ref tries to get him out of the corner. He goes back to Raines but Raines kicks him right in the jimmies. Raines then grabs Hackman’s leg and puts it under his own jimmies. The ref sees that and disqualifies Hackman.
Winner by disqualification, Calvin Raines.
To be fair, Hackman threw the ref down, he should have been disqualified.
Mr. Antonio Cesaro has requested a minute of our time. He wants to teach everyone a lesson tonight. Every time he walks into an arena, everyone needs to clap their greasy hands for him. He wasn’t born in this country. And that alone makes him better then everyone of you (unless of course someone in the crowd was born outside the country). He says he won’t be here long. He’ll be the first Swiss born. WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He’s the best wrestler ever born in Europe. All the FCW superstars, be warned. He wishes them good luck.
We go to Maxine walking down the hallway, and we see Bo Rotundo. He says he wants a title shot when he gets right. Maxine gives Bo a kiss on the cheek. Derrick Bateman walks in (ohhh snap). Maxine gets after him for interupting a conversation. He goes to kiss her on the lips, but she moves his head. Now, Richie Steamboat comes into the scene. She asks Richie if he’s ready, and Maxine gives him a hug.
Dean Ambrose has requested time as well. Ambrose feels really healthy. He has 20/20 vision and good hearing. He talks about Damien Sandow saying he’ll take on anyone anywhere for the FCW 15 Champioship. Ambrose says he’s indescrutble. He is going to use Damien Sandow as an example to William Regal, the COO, the GM and that filthy Maxine that he’s not one to be messed with. Dean Ambrose is taking over the world. If you’re smart, get out of the way.
Mr. Jacked Nick Rogers & Big E Langston vs Jiro and Sakamoto
The man with no belly button and Big E Langston come to the ring together. Byron Saxton says these guys are his new favourite tag team. They take on Jiro and Sakamoto. Remind me of No Limit from TNA. A bit of strong wrestling at the beginning but Sakamoto gets a tag in and hits Rogers with an American Armdrag. Tag into Big E and he hits Sakamoto with trifecta of backbreakers. Tag back into Mr. Jacked. Double sledge from the top from Mr. Jacked. He has time to pose. Push Ups from Mr. Jacked. Sakamoto tries to fight back but Rogers hits a Russian Leg Sweep. Rogers locks in a camel clutch. Sakamoto gets out and hits a neckbreaker. Apparently these guys were trained by Taka Michinoku. That means they’re EVIL!!!!
Big over hand chop by Jiro. Can’t lift up Rogers but tries again and slams him down. Rogers whipped into a corner and holds the ropes and Jiro misses a dropkick. Big E comes in and hits the Big Ending. Drops Sakamoto on the apron and Nick calls to be tagged in. Rogers hit a jumping elbow and gets the pin.
Winners: Mr. Jacked Nick Rogers & Big E Langston.
Jacked and Packed is what Russo calls Big E and Mr. Jacked. Swerve. They’re gay lovers. Swerve. They turn babyface. Swerve. They turn heel, what dastardly people.
We need some help here is yelled, and Richie Steamboat and standing over Husky Harris. He says it’s a bat, someone must have attacked him. He holds a bat over the fallen Husky Harris. Hmmm.
FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship
Leo Kruger (c) vs Abraham Washington
He’s gone from General Manager of FCW to challenging for the FCW Title, Abraham Washington going for his first shot at that belt I do believe. Washington has a new goatee, thanks for Mr. Russo for informing us of that. Maybe Russo could tell us about the super strength it gives Washington. Almost as much as a Hall of Fame ring. Armdrag from Kruger. Go behind from Mr. Washington into a front face lock. Kruger gets to the ropes. Kruger goes for a punch but Abe is ready and Kruger escapes to the outside. Kruger comes in and hits a boot to the gut, and Kruger starts going to work. Abe starts fighting back and gives him a huge hip toss, followed by a slam and a clothesline to the outside. Kruger waits outside trying to regain his composure.
We come back from a commercial break with Abe on offense. Kruger pulls him outside the ring. Kruger smashes Abe into the steps and then kicks the steps while Abe is on top of them. Kruger goes back in the ring looking for a count out. When Abe gets back in, Kruger puts the boots to him and locks in a cravat. Abe starts fighting back with some forearm shots. Kruger lays in a knife edge chop, and Abe responds. Kruger gets in a knee to the gut in regains the advantage. Body scissors by Leo Kruger. Kruger digs his hand into the trapezius muscle. He gets up and lays the boots to Abe. Snap suplex by Kruger gets a 2 count followed by another front face lock. Kruger goes to the second rope and misses a leg drop. Kruger runs at Abe, who is in the corner, but he misses. Abe starts a comeback with a couple of clotheslines and a flapjack. Abe goes for the In Yo’ Face elbow drop, but Kruger kicks out and two and a half. Abe picks up Kruger to go for a powerslam, but Kruger escapes and hits a big clothesline. Kruger gets a near fall for his troubles. Kruger locks in the sleeper hold. He gets caught with a sideslam by Abe and hits another In Yo’ Face elbow. 2 and 7/8s for Abe. Kruger gets put in the corner and set up for a superplex. Kruger starts fighting back and Abe is pushed off. Kruger goes for a crossbody, hits it, but Abe reverses. 1, 2, 3, kickout….what, wait a second. That was a legit three count. The fans are yelling at him, as it was a three count (though like, on the camera angle opposite the referee, you can see Leo get his shoulder up. Kruger hits a DDT and gets a 2 count (an actual 2 count). The fans are still yelling at the referee, the match seems to have been killed dead. Kruger goes for a piledriver but is backdropped over. Kruger takes the legs out of Abe, rolls him up and puts his feet on the ropes for a victory.
Winner and STILL FCW Champion, Leo Kruger.
Really bad botch killed the match, botch from Kruger and the referee.
