The Women’s Revolution has blown into the Suplex Multiplex this week, though not of the workrate of the Mae Young Classic. The first feature is more akin to the degradation of women’s wrestling seen in the Attitude Era, that being Troma’s “Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters.” Think Woody Allen’s “What’s Up, Tiger Lily?” but without the appeal. The other film is clearly “inspired” by “GLOW,” that being “American Angels: Baptism of Blood.”
A lot of sexual innuendo and dropkicks this time around! Enjoy!
