In the long and storied history of the F.A.N. forum there have been threads that have taken a life of their own just because of how strange, outlandish and hilarious they are. Among them are the We riot, the NEW technical difficulties screen started by The Wombat on June 14, 2006.
It all began at the 2006 ECW One Night Stand pay per view event which took place at the Hammerstien Ballroom, better known to wrestling fans as the ECW Arena, on June 11 that year. The main event of the evening featured John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Rob Van Dam. Among the fans attending the show that night was a man who brought a sign saying if Cena wins we riot.
