FCW 09/04/11

Tito, Raquel and Kenneth look to "ascend" the ladder. See what I did there!

Slowly but surely I’ll get this up to date. This week, William Regal is off this week, and Byron Saxton is taking his place. Let’s get to our first match. Steve Kiern will be updating everyone on something with FCW. Brad Maddox wants to prove that 1st Generation is better then 2nd. And up first, an odd tag team combination.

Abraham Washington & Mike Dalton vs Tito Colon & Kenneth Cameron w/Raquel Diaz

Man, I’m wondering if these two will become a regular tag team. It’s almost as random as Percy Watson and Tito Colon a few weeks ago. Their opponents are part of the Ascension group that Ricardo Rodriquez is putting together. Tito has some corn rolls this week as well. We start off with Tito and Honest Abe. Tito puts his hand out for a handshake. Abe slaps it away. Cameron grabs him for a distraction and Tito gets in a boot and the advantage. He gets caught that with a belly to belly then a flapjack, followed by a Dusty Rhodes elbow. He goes for the In Your Face elbow but Tito stops him. Kenneth Cameron makes the blind tag and goes on the attack. Quick tag back into Colon and they hit a double Russian Leg Sweep. Quick tags in and out and keeping Abe in the Ascension corner. Big neckbreaker only gets a two count. Abe gets the tag but Tito distracted the referee and The Ascension start the illegal double team. Tito and Kenneth end up slamming into each other, and Mike Dalton gets tagged in. Big cross body by Mike Dalton. Dalton on fire! Dropkick to the knee, followed by a low dropkick to the face getting a near fall. Tito Colon pushes Dalton into Cameron who hits a front lung blower, which backs up Dalton into a back cracker from Tito, who gets the three count.

Winners: Kenneth Cameron & Tito Colon

Yes! They were in FCW. This week: Dylan Klien

Damien Sandow vs Leakee

Sandow much more evil with his new beard.

The Colonel comes out sporting a new beard. Now he’s more of a heel then ever with his evil beard. The crowd puts ’em up for Leakee, who has a stylish babyface beard. Lock up for about 10 seconds. The commentators make an interesting observation as Sandow has been wrestling for 10 years, where this is Leakee’s rookie year. Leakee works a headlock for the start of the match until Sandow backs him up into the corner and starts pounding away. Leakee reverses that and starts his own . Elbow across the chin gets a 2 count. Sandow regains the advantage and does a full nelson while slamming his head into the turnbuckle. Abdominal stretch right by the ropes, and that dastardly Sandow grabs the ropes for more leverage. It’s quickly caught by the referee though. Leakee hits a big forearm and both men are down. Knee lift by Leakee followed by a couple of clotheslines. Big splash in the corner. Leakee goes for the Samoan Drop, but Sandow escapes and rolls up Leakee. Leakee reverses that roll up, rolling on top of Sandow and getting the win.

Winner: Leakee

Sandow was not pleased with that lost. He attacks Leakee and hits a big spinning neckbreaker outside on the floor.

Briley Pierce is backstage with Bo Rotundo and Aksana. He asks about why Husky Harris is facing Conor O’Brian and not him. Before he gets to say anything, Husky Harris enters and gets after Bo for missing Sunday dinner for the first time in 10 years. Husky must really LOVE his food. Johnny Ace apparently is looking for him, and Bo said he called him back. Husky claims that all this is happening because of Aksana, and that he’ll lose his title and his spot in WWE if he keeps messing around. Bo then slaps his big brother in the face! You don’t want to mess with Husky Harris when it comes to food.

You better be there when Husky Harris wants to eat.

Steve Kiern is seen walking down the hallway, coming to make a big announcement. But first, we go to the General Manager’s office with Norman Smiley, Maxine and Leo Kruger. Norman isn’t smiling this week (ha, see what I did there) because Leo Kruger jumped him from behind after Kruger’s match with Bo Rotundo. Steve Kiern enters and says he’s getting down to business. He is restating Maxine as a General Manager. Leo believes that Norman actually attacked him first, and Steve says that Leo has a great attorney

(maybe he’s the same attorney that Christian has). Anyway, Maxine makes Norman Smiley the guest referee for a future FCW Title match between Bo Rotundo and Leo Kruger. After Norman leaves, Maxine gets on her phone and says, “William, it’s back on”.

Brad Maddox vs Richie Steamboat

The ring announcer states that by order of new General Manager Maxine, this is now a handicap matches. Brad Maddox comes out in his sports coat and Rodney Thomas and Colin Cassidy will be the ones wrestling tonight. Might as well change the match here.

Richie Steamboat vs Colin Cassidy & Rodney Thomas

Last week, Richie superkicked both men in this match. Apparently Brad Maddox has been seeing a trauma conseiller thanks to his kicks to the face. Richie starts off with Rodney Thomas. Some chain wrestling by both men here. Big spinal tap kick to the back followed by a spinning kick while Thomas is still on the ground. He makes the quick tag to Cassidy. Maddox yells “kick his butt”. Steamboat chops him in the corner. He jumps off the second rope and gets caught in Cassidy’s arms. He brings him into his corner and they start the beat down. Quick tags in and out. They both whip Richie into the ropes, miss a double clothesline and then Richie hits a jumping clothesline on both men. Maddox up on the apron causing the distraction. Rodney Thomas charges from behind but Steamboat pulls down the top rope. Maddox throws him back in the ring while Steamboat was chopping Cassidy in the corner. Thomas and Cassidy start a 2 on 1 attack and end up getting disqualified.

Winner: Richie Steamboat

Maddox grabs Steamboat’s legs to further incapacitate him. Maddox takes his shoe off and then nails Steamboat with it. Steamboat’s lucky Maddox is a guy and wasn’t hit with a high heel shoe, 1995 WCW style.

This could be a........shoe in for feud of the year. I wonder if the Wrestlecrap crickets could work here too.

Husky Harris vs Conor O’Brian w/ Ricardo Rodriquez & Raquel Diaz

Ricardo and Conor must have made up from their feud on NXT. Conor seems to be the crown jewel of the Ascension. His opponent is Husky Harris, fresh off getting bitched slapped by his little brother. My little brother almost went to the Olympics for boxing, but missed because his nose kept getting broken. He did win his first title in his first try though. Stalemate at the beginning of the match here. After some back and forth action, Conor rolls to the outside. He gets back in the ring after waiting a bit on the outside, and both men boot each other in the gut at the same time. Slow action at the beginning, and because of that, I’m looking over at Raquel, who seems to have a lot of tattoos. Including this star tattoo on her elbow that I think Ashley Masaro has, and Edge has one on his shoulder. I’ll make sure to never get a tattoo like that. Harris clotheslines O’Brian to the outside. Still kinda slow. Man, Raquel has nice boobs. Harris slaps O’Brian in the chest a number of times and pushes him in the corner. He goes for the big senton but misses. O’Brian throws him to the outside. O’Brian maintains the advantage, slamming Harris into the apron before bringing him back in the ring. O’Brian goes for a body scissors submission and after a few minutes, Harris fights out. Harris butt slams him a few times before hitting him with a big avalanche in the middle of the ring. 3 point stance followed by a urinage gets a near fall. Conor gets a quick rolling suplex out of desperation and gets his own near fall. O’Brian misses a boot and Raquel is on the apron. Harris whips Conor into the ropes, he reverses, and Raquel screams at Harris so he wouldn’t hit her. That distraction leads to a big boot and gets a 3 count.

Winner: Conor O’Brian

Ascension go two for two in a match so epic, I couldn't stop staring at Raquel's boob job.

Raquel is relieved and I probably made a bigger paragraph there with my ramblings. The Ascension stands tall this week and look to dominate FCW in the coming weeks.
