Big match tonight for the FCW 15 Title

FCW is back this week, and we start off with a video package on Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Big match coming up between the two of them, and it was even tweeted about on Seth Rollins’ Twitter. It’s the 150th episode of FCW. William Regal is excited about Aksana being stripped. Apparently, there are no pictures. Aksana was stripped of the Divas Title after walking out of a match, and has been suspended. William Regal is really putting over the main event as something people really need to see. But up first, the former tag team champions in action.

The Rotundo Brothers vs The FCW All Stars

Lucky Cannon and Damien Sandow  come out as the FCW All Stars. As the 150th episode opens, a major feud could potentially come to an end. Bo beat Lucky for the FCW Title, and there have been interference issues between Sandow and Harris. Sandow and Bo start beating the tar out of each other. Bo gets the advantage and smashes Damien Sandow multiple times into the turnbuckle. Tag into Husky Harris and get a double team shoulder block on Sandow. Lucky tagged in, but Harris keeps the pressure on Lucky. Lucky gets the advantage with a thumb to the eye and in comes Sandow. I noticed that both men are wearing matching trunks. Sandow gets back in but escapes to the outside of the ring. They do a run out/run in deal, but when Harris goes to get back in, Lucky grabs his boot. Quick tags in and out through the break, keeping Husky in their half of the ring. Back drop on Sandow, but Sandow keeps him close to keep from making the tag. Lucky ends up getting an atomic drop to try and get a tag but Lucky grabs the leg, and they definitely do look like a great tag team, even though Cannon has been released. Sandow gets back in, continuing the beating. Husky crawls to the corner, kicks off Sandow and IN COMES BO! Bo goes crazy, as Lucky gets in another quick tag. Spear on Sandow to get him out of action, and then a big spear on Lucky Cannon, and with that follows the three count.

Winners: The Rotundo Brothers

William Regal believes Bo can carry the WWE for the next 20 years, and Bo certainly has age on his side.

YES! They were in FCW! This Week:
Sweet Papi Sanchez

Yes the Candy Man can!

One of the hottest babyfaces in FCW at the time was Sweet Papi Sanchez. He was originally brought into FCW as Black Pain, in which he was an Abyss type of heel, with a chain, black mask partially covering up his face. When his opponents fought him, they were going into a Black Abyss. Papi was managed by Byron Saxton and was apart of the Saxton Conglomerate. Saxton turned babyface eventually and left the Conglomerate, and became a very fun, happy go lucky babyface. My guess is people saw him without his mask backstage, and thought, man, this guy has an actual baby face, so maybe he could get over as a fun loving babyface. He was also Colt Cabana’s favorite wrestler, as when he was on commentary, Colt would yell for Sweet Papi to throw him some candy.

Sweet Papi developed an on air relationship with Angela Fong, but later had his own personal candy girl who would pass out candy to the members of the audience, who is now currently Maxine. Sweet Papi would turn heel a year later, and the rumour was he was going to be called up with Hade Vansen on Smackdown, but that fell through. Sweet Papi was released with a bunch of others in early 2009.

Kenneth Cameron vs Brad Maddox

Maddox comes out with the mic and says he has to gloat. He wants to remind everyone that recently he had a match with Percy Watson and Richie Steamboat, and he pinned Richie. They don’t make those Steamboats like they used to. The first one came out, he was so good and the second one came out, and he’s broken! He’s pretty much mocking Steamboat’s heritage. He has that first generation blood. He’ll never be as good as his father and Brad Maddox. But then again, who could be as good as those two. He starts talking in his British accent. He says he would like to send a shout out, turns around, and gets a big superkick from Richie Steamboat out of no where. He’s dressed in a nice suit too, does he always dress like that? Maybe a dress code down in FCW. Anyway, now to Briley Pierce.

Tv so real, IT'LL SUPERKICK YOU IN THE FACE!

He is  surprised he’s still here.  Briley needs some confidence in his abilities, Buddy Stetcher didn’t even get on FCW  TV. He’s with Leo Kruger who has an announcement. He says he’ll finally get his shot at Bo Rotundo for the Florida Heavyweight Championship. The face of FCW will change forever. Everything he ever believed in will pay off next week. He’s accomplished a lot, but it’s done.

Derrick Bateman vs Hunico

Derrick comes out to that NXT theme, if I could get through this. He takes on a man who briefly trended on Twitter for some reason. His body type is similar to Sin Cara, after Sin Cara was gone for a few weeks and gained muscle and grew a couple of inches. Quick action starting off between the two, both trade a few pins. Bateman puts his hand out for a shake, and Hunico slaps it away. Hunico gets drop kicked to the outside, was gonna dive out of the ring but Hunico saw it coming. Looks like Derrick Bateman is the babyface in this match, as compared to being a heel on NXT. Hunico being pretty aggressive in the match, not flying as much as usual. A Hand full of tights pulls Bateman into the second turnbuckle. They quickly show a shot of Ricardo Rodriquez sitting with Conor O’Brian, Tito Colon, and Raquel Diaz. They’re watching the monitor and scouting this match. Bateman and Hunico slugging it out, definitely a change in style with Hunico. Hunico hits a Michinoku driver and Bateman kicks out. Hits a rolling senton in the corner and still can’t put him away. He goes outside for a senton over the ropes, but Bateman gets the knees up. He starts gaining the advantage after a dropkick in the corner and a neckbreaker. Bateman hits an exploder suplex. Hunico looking to kinda run away. Hunico botches, as he jumps off the second rope and Bateman couldn’t catch him. Hunico falls on top of Bateman and gets the pin.

Winner: Hunico

Hunico starting to look like Sin Cara in the ring for some reason

Ricardo may have just been backstage looking on during this match, but he’s definitely lived an interesting life.

Superstar Profile: Ricardo Rodriquez

Ricardo is a busy man, no wonder he's so tired here

This week on the FAN message board, we learned that earlier this year, the man who ring announces for the WWE Champion was actually in PORN! Well, he wasn’t doing the fornication, he was just an extra in a class room, in which this chick was showing how to put a condom on a banana, and this teacher going wild and randomly ripping his pants off. We also learned that Ricardo was on a Spanish speaking game show trying to hook up their too. Before coming to WWE, Ricardo competed in Chikara’s Young Lion’s Cup tournament in 2009 as Chimaera, losing to Cloudy in the first round. Ricardo also competed in numerous indies throughout the western United States. After looking for talent, he looks to be creating his own stable of wrestlers to take over FCW, and maybe WWE.

We go to some footage from earlier today, with Steve Kiern having a meeting with Maxine, William Regal and Norman Smiley. Steve Kiern wants Maxine and Norman to work together as co general managers. Maxine then whispers something in William Regal’s ear. Steve Kiern says he has a tape he wants to show Regal (it’s actually a dvd, but Steve Kiern can’t help being old school). Up next it’s the main event.

Steve Kiern has a tape he wants to show Regal. Maybe they could send it to a bunch of the other territories.

FCW 15 Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs Dean Ambrose

They’ve done a lot of build up for this match here. Dean Ambrose had been calling out Seth Rollins for weeks, and now he has the chance to show Seth what he’s made of. He’s been the FCW 15 Champion for 6 months, and is the only man to be FCW 15 Champion. The clock starts and they do some sizing up for the first 30 seconds. William Regal talked about how they started around the same time, went around to many different organizations, but this is their very first match together. Quick action starting off with Rollins sinking in an arm drag. Rollins catches a kick, and seems to be getting a number of pinfall attempts. Ambrose slaps Rollins in the face, raising his ire, and gets a slap back. Ambrose gets a knee in and backs him into a corner with a few chops. Rollins gets the advantage back and gives Ambrose a couple of back chops. Rollins goes for a dive, but Ambrose gets in a forearm and stops him in his tracks. Ambrose is seen after a commercial with a Japanese strangle hold. Rollins eventually gets some offense back in, and hits a flatliner to Ambrose head first on the second turnbuckle. Lots of back and forth action in this match. Rollins gets a near fall after a neck breaker hanging from the ropes. After a curb stomp type move, he gets another near fall. Both men knock heads and Ambrose falls to the outside.

Count outs count as falls in these matches. Lots of back and forth action, hard to call. Seth Rollins runs forward and does a diving flip over the top rope onto Ambrose, which gets another near fall. Springboard clothesline off the top by Rollins and Ambrose kicks out again, leading to a bit of frustration on the part of Rollins. Rollins looks for Avada Kadavra but Ambrose catches him and plants him into the canvas and gets his own near fall. Ambrose looks to go in for the kill and goes for the Midnight Special but fails. A couple of reversals, but Rollins get a jumping back kick. At 4 minutes remaining, Rollins gets another near fall and still a 0-0 score. Rollins up to the top rope, but Ambrose meets him with a right hand. Ambrose rakes his nails on his back, just digging them in. Rollins returns the favour. Sunset flip blocked. Rollins kicks Ambrose in the head, he seems out on the top turnbuckle and Rollins struggles to get up. Big Hurricarana but Ambrose reverses into a pin. Ambrose holds on after a kick out going for a Boston crab, but Rollins reverses THAT, and goes for his own pin.

Ridiculous amount of near falls and about 90 seconds left to go. Both men hit a double clothesline and they are down. They are struggling to get up as the clock ticks down. Ambrose starts pounding the mat, firing himself up. At 20 seconds remaining, they both start slugging it out like man men. They continue brawling as the clock runs out.

Draw, and STILL FCW 15 Champion, Seth Rollins

Rollins and Ambrose brawl at the end of their epic match

The fans chant for 5 more minutes. Ambrose has the medal and threw the title into the crowd, a bit odd. The referee goes out finds the medal and gives it back to Rollins. Definitely not the end of that feud
