This article started out as something different all together, a vast inter-weaving tapestry of all things VNA related that happened at Adultcon for me. But as I was uploading pictures, it all screeched to a halt. Two of those days in particular were epic days, days to be sung of by future heroes, because on Saturday and Sunday Sara Jay had curly hair and wore fishnets.
Them thing is, I’m not really into either of those things. I like straight hair and wavy hair and hair that pulled up and just about everything (apart from that stupid STUPID ‘bump’ girls put in their hair). And fishnets, well fishnets are boss but I’m not a guy that goes out of his way looking for those or stockings. If they’re there, great. If not, well hello bare legs! So I couldn’t tell you why this particular mix was so popular with me that weekend, but the end result is a lot of hanging around her booth and taking pictures.
Sadly, I don’t have any great Sara stories from this trip. but to be fair, last year she fed me cotton candy so it would be hard to top that anyway. But I did have a nice time visiting her at her booth. Its funny, because she almost always had a crowd, but at least half the time the crowd was standing about ten feet away from where she was! I was able to walk right up to her nine times out of ten (or 90 times out of a hundred, if we’re using the real amount of times I went). I can only guess its because Sara in person can be a little over-whelming, like meeting any celebrity. The difference is while someone else may seem larger-then-life, when you’re next to Sara parts of her literally are!
Even other pornstars are intimidated by Sara! I met one girl, Paris Rocks, who was new to the business. Infact, I would actually be the first guy to ever take a picture with her at a con! She was over in the Pornstar Tweet booth, which was fairly close to the VNA girls and were talking about who else I’d seen. She got excited when I mentioned Sara, and said she hoped to meet her one day. So I told her we could just go over right now. And off we went. It was funny trying to explain why she didn’t need to be nervous when I always am when I do this sort of thing for the first time, but she needed to remember she was a hot chick so she should just relax and enjoy it!
Another satisfied customer, no doubt. I know I didn’t see a single person walk away from Sara disappointed – apart from knowing they weren’t going home with her, that is. I actually had a little of that myself. Can’t beat myself up over it though, because to be fair as much as I LOVE Sara, especially with curly hair and fishnets, I’m just not her type.
