There are a few people responsible for where I am today. The first is obviously Sophie Dee, my first real connection to the adult industry and my very first interview. for about a year after that I would do the occasional conversation, and they’d end up on the old wrestlecrap forums or my myspace. I was never intending on doing it for any real reason, so these stupid little things just helped me pass the time. I wasn’t inspired to do anything more with it until I met the girl featured today, Louisa Lanewood.
I originally wasn’t going to post about Louisa today, though she’s often on my mind. But I found a website, www.louisalanewood.net, that made me immediately sit up and pay attention. There was some new stuff on there, and Louisa hasn’t done any porn work in two years.
I first found Louisa on (surprise!) Sophie Dee’s website. It was the middle of 2008, and while she was cute I didn’t really make much of her at the time. Subsequent updates had me more and more impressed though, and I became a fan of her girl-next-door look and natural body. I had just started speaking to her online when we got to meet up at Adultcon, my first adult convention.
We hit it off fairly well; if there’s one thing I’m good at, its having a enthusiastic-puppy charm that makes beautiful women like me. After returning to Fl I hatched a zany scheme where I would perform herculean labours based on her favourite things, and if I succeeded she’s be my date to the 2010 AVN Awards. And so launched my first site (DBZ fansite from hs be damned), a blag about my LL fandom.
I learned two things from that. One, maintaining a blog on one person is really, really hard. Especially when in kayfabe, she wasn’t supposed to know about it. There’s only so much to write about. Two was that people will inform on you to the police, or at least claim they are when they randomly find your site.
I wasn’t aware that you could turn off the safe feature and host an adult blog on blogger, so I opted to move on to less constrictive pastures. I found a lovely young women to help me out (a more recent project would be this site), and soon I was up and posting at www.louisalanewoodlover.com. Kayfabe had been dropped for a more traditional approach. This is when I started to really screw around, and I’d go weeks with just most silly posts and bad photoshops I could come up with, for whatever reminded me of LL at the time.
Two of my favoruties, that I can no longer find, are a picture of Louisa naked with Mario jumping by on Buzzy Beetles, and an in-depth comparison between her and Mecha-King Ghidorah. I really wish I had those to show you guys.
The site and plan went along just fine, until the unexpected happened. Louisa fell in love. Whataya gonna do right?
Not long after, Louisa walked away from the business and into a family life, with the 2009 revelation that she was pregnant. She stuck around the communities though, until one day posting a tweet she was moving to Asia before closing her account and fading into obscurity, remembered only by her fondest fans. I shut down the website and started JDheartsporn, knowing she was gone for good.
And then I found that site this morning.
If LL was back, I was really, really excited! All of the postings had been fairly recent, so I took a shot and joined hoping to find my long-lost friend again.
Sadly, it was not to be. The pictures were new, at least to the public, but were in actuality over two years old. In a fairly commonplace occurrence, the surplus of material Louisa had shot was simply sold off to the highest bidder, and it had just now been coming onto the market. In a way its disappointing, but on the other hand it lets me think that she’s still out there perfectly happy with her new life and without any reason to return.
I’m thankful to Louisa for a lot of things, not the least of which is helping me expand on how and what I write when it comes to this adult stuff. I doubt I’d have been invited here to FAN without the experience writing about her gave me, and I’m happy to return the favor (ever so slightly) by keeping the memories of her career alive in my own little corner of the world. It also gave me a little filler while I try and finish the three interviews I’m working on right now, so Louisa, I know you wont ever get to read, this but thanks for that too you’re a saint!
